Blood Knight by Toraji (WIP)
Having done mostly projects with characters and items of my own design, I thought it would be valuable to work off a piece of concept art and to do as best a job I could to translate a 2D artwork. This was made during my final Demo Reel classes at Gnomon School of Visual Effects and it was a new and challenging experience to not be totally in control of the look of the final image. Much of my time was spent in learning how best to match elements of the original artwork as I so desperately wanted to properly recreate everything I saw. The practice I got from this project was invaluable and incredibly educational.
